@ Kendaf I have not been to the track days yet. I am very interested inc checking it out soon. I am still in the break-in period so I can't get over 6,000 rpm. I just picked the bike up and bought a Puig windscreen and Shad bag kit to go on my trip which is heading to Laguna Seca for the World Superbike race in July. I may try to get to track days later in the summer, if I don't spend all my money on accessories.

Lots to be said for buying a new bike but they are big bucks. Quality used bikes can be hard to find but they do come up.

Add 500 for rad/skid/hand guards and tax and your 12g out the door. I have a 2013 and it's a great bike but I bought it used with 10 hours on it for way less then new.

Ask for a first bike. A Ktm 200 -300 are all great bikes and you will dial your riding style into whatever you get. They are all fun

Rat, what came of your adventure to 'Merka you were talking about a while back? Fyi, the Mad Lake area is supposed to open soon which really opens up some interesting dual sport combinations. Think dirtbike dual sport, not 500lb carry all your high heel shoes in cargo boxes dual sport…

I'll be up at the Chilco mailbox pretty soon showing my kid around on his 4hun. Should be an eye opener for him.

I havnt made it stateside yet, I got on to a couple Gucci corporate salmon fishing trips that I couldn't say no to. I have to go down there soon tho as I have all my gear waiting for me at the border
