I hear you. I heard nothing but good things about those snowbikes and they look fun.

Like I said, if I have the time, I'd do it but trying to squeeze 3 different toys in the winter, not gonna happen.

The trials bike is a different story. I knew it was going to be fun when I saw some of the clips from the Squamish riders. Just didn't know it was going to be that much fun that my enduro bike is sitting collecting dust.

Looks like the snow is going to be decent this weekend. Curious to know how you find the 2T yammie with the track. I think a 450 is the most optimal setup for those

Yeah me too, a guy I have been talking to at Timbersled says the 250 is awesome. He just did a new 300 ktm…yamaha 250's make unreal horsepower…and it is a lot lighter than a 450…some plus's especially since I got this one so cheap…next will be a Beta 300 or 498!!

That is awesome Rat! Kim and I did a wicked trials ride yesterday and now there is snow coming so sledding is on!!

Found a dealer with a good deal on a Ninja 650, but he wants almost $1200 in shipping, PDI and documentation fees. Is that typical? I'd expect maybe a third of that, am I out to lunch or is he just padding an artificially low price?

How about my wifes 2007 ninja 650? Its got 8000km, totally babied. Down once in a parking lot, not noticeable scratches. Make me an offer? In Kamloops can deliver.

Nice bike, low KMS….score.

Can't wait for the spring to roll around. Bought my first bike last August and already clocked about 4000 km on it :)

Lol doc fees? How about a case of diapers?

My sun peaks pass only has one day on it this year. Last year I was at 12 by Christmas.

Well got out on the snow bike yesterday, just added kit and alp to air filter and that is it. I tried this once 4 years ago and it was so awesome, but at that time the kits just did not allow you to go that many places in the deep. The new timbersled kit does so on it went. First off I went as high as I could on the road but still had to unload in mixed dirt and snow. If anyone tried this for the first time like I did on these conditions on the road, they might quit the sport…I literally had to run beside the bike up some of the steep sections on Brohm Ridge Road! I went 1km and I was sweating like I had run a marathon. It is so hard to steer in those conditions and feels like your driving a bus with no rubber on the wheels. Then did supercoss whoops to the gate, Once there though this yz 250 cam to life and I was rip pin through handle bar deep pow. I could not believe how this thing went through stuff. In the photo with the snow up to the handlebars, I hammered into this and it stopped, this would be a significant stuck on a sled, i went in front of the bike and packed the snow down with my feet, and second gear popped me right out…ran great a the cabin but as we went higher the jetting went south and I did not think i would make it out of the steep terrain we were in…finally made it out and the road was better going down until I got to the last kilometre where I ran the bike to the truck….these things need snow, and this years has been thin down low and only an issue at brohm…they are sick and everyone who tried it, could not believe how the 250 pulled and how fun and easy it carved..so wicked
