Someone spent some money  Not to say I don't like it but I do prefer bikes with less 'fingerprints' and mileage on them.

For reference, I kicked down $2500 for my '02 unmolested garage queen with 5800mi and a set of fresh 606's on it.

Is that what women assume now a days? If you buy a toy you have to get one for them too? Respectfully, NITFLT!

She currently doesn't have any interest in moto. If and when I get a bike it will be a trials bike. I don't foresee doing the interior weekends of riding, I think my moto time will be spent as either evenings or day trips doing Britania/Squamish.

The moment she changes her mind we'll gladly get a second bike.

does anyone have an oversize bar for sale. I wiped out my Yz and bent the sunline bars on it. I want to go riding tomorrow but wasn't able to get off work early enough to get a shop in time. Most shops open at like 9am on saturday which i think is too late.

Trying to figure out which one to get. Wont be buying brand new, trying to find a 2006 to 2010 that hasn't been shit kicked. I want electric start as well. There's alot of CRF's available is there a reason for this? My riding buddies are on Yamahas so recommend them but the Hondas seem to be alot of bike for the money.
Or is there something else out there I should look at.
Any input would be appreciated.

Oh, and I've got a near mint '09 KTM 150SX 2 stroke(too wired for me) and a excellent condition '84 XR350 (not wired enough for me) I'm selling to finance the buy if you know anyone who's looking for a decent used bike.

Dave, what about spark arrestors for 2 strokes? My KDX doesn't have one, but when Terry inspected us at Bear, he didn't even bother looking for one, although he did berate one of our crew for noise.

Do you know if a 2 stroke must have a spark arrestor screen? FMF exhaust.

ALL bikes/quads must have spark arrestors. It's not just a thumper thing. Though I've never been checked either, and had both my bikes through the sound check.

On a somewhat related note, just saw this, guessing it's old news to most of you?:

In May of 2012 a Bear Creek OHV Trail Pass will be implemented for those who use the area, much along the lines of other types of Recreation Sites in the Okanagan Valley. Bear Creek OHV Trail Passes would automatically be included in OTRA Memberships and you can purchase your Membership online at http://www.okanagantrailriders.com/members/index.htm
or at the Aspen Trailhead at Bear Creek. For those who prefer not to purchase an OTRA Membership, a $10 Day Pass will be available at the Area. Some Dealerships may also participate in Pass and Membership Sales, more information on the specific Dealerships will be forthcoming.

sven - can't you use a dollar store sieve like i mentioned a while back? I think Pete made one also?

Story in the paper mentioned that they had a crackdown on Bear over the long weekend. Apparently fines were handed out for lack of spark arrestors and warnings for lack of passes.
