Heckler decided to take a snow day from work so we could hit up Vedder.
Plan was to be gone from the Wack by 3:00 to avoid the traffic. Well, we didn't get back to the truck until after 4:30!!! Left my house at 8:20 this morning, arrived back at 7:20. Looooooong day on the mountain.
Rode a bunch of lower trails, took out a few downed trees including one nasty hardwood. Really could have used that energy later. Took Stairway to Heaven to the top of Vedder, and made good time. Then we took a wrong turn. And another. And another :( Finally got back on track and down the right side, but the damage was done. Both of us absolutely knackered and it took us another hour to get back to the truck.
Hard day on the mountain, but the riding was stellar. The views were pretty awesome as well. Great day to be on the moto :)

Vedder was prime yesterday I did a couple hours in the morning before work and it was so good I came back and did 2 more hours after work. Must have missed you guys by 15 minutes both times. Trials bike was spooky fast on the smoth flowy stuff. I clipped a tree and did a superman into the trees on sanctuary.
You guys take out the trees on TTT and sanctuary? Those were big

we cut out a couple of the smaller ones on sanctuary, but damn, were we ever happy to see the trail fairies had been at it on TTT with a chainsaw! That angled tree was making us both very nervous at the end of a long day, and thank god it was cut out!
