Cause your little ranger is such a manly Kamloops truck Wayne.

I would think if you had a bunch of that chain that you need a plasma torch to cut through you could secure your bike pretty good. throw a cover over it so its a little lower profile and you should be ok.

I wouldn't be parking that bike in any open carport, especially in Van.

cheap storage.

a guy I work with after having his bike ripped off at his condo bought a shitty panel van that didnt run. he put crazy ass locks on it and an ear shattering alarm and used it for storage. thieves never got in even though his underground parking got broken into pretty much every day

How hard could this be to ride at full speed?

That's the kind of riding that nightmares are made of.

anybody out there try or have one of these types of racks? for me, i'm thinking this is the way to go. waay more convenient then a trailer

I have an SUV and a rack like that, works great and it's a lot easier to store a rack than a trailer.

I bought mine from Burnaby Kawasaki.

Scott Velez has one of those yuppie racks for his yuppie 4Runner. It seems to work well (for yuppies).

Just remember, my fast yuppie 4Runner has air conditioning and a Venti Starbucks holder…. 'Nuff said!

You need your bike to be in a place where stealing it will also involve a B[HTML_REMOVED]E charge(break and enter). THAT is where a lot of thieves will draw the line…thus reducing the chances of theft greatly.
Alarms work if you're home…if you're not, the neighbours probably won't do shit.
There isn't an affordable chain or cable that couldn't be cut in 30sec flat, and in silence, by the $40 rental of this…

The best way to protect your bike, is chain it to a pitbull with aids.

That is the surrey way

With the weather we're having right now most riding places are good to go around the lower mainland. So yeah, the mtb will collect dust.

Congrats on the new bike.
