New Ride!!

every time I ride my 200, I have shake my head as to how amazing the 200 is for the lower mainland riding. Sure it lacks a little up country, but for Squamish, Mcnutt, and Vedder I really can't think of a better bike.
bike looks nice mr. norona
I wish KTM was making a 200XC. I would be my next bike for sure.
Anyone looking for a wicked tie down system for dirt bikes and trials bikes should check these out, the work super well, especially in trucks.

They stopped making it cause the difference was negligible. This however is gonna be a lot of fun!!

If that was the case KTM wouldn't be building the 250 and 300XC's. I am interested in the ride report on the Freeride.
so how the hell are you supposed to register a used bike you bought 6 years ago and don't have a bill of sale?
Head to the notary and make your claim….

There is a bigger difference in the 250 and 300 that is why they are doing it in those bikes, especially the 300.

Is it the linkage or the gear ratio or both that you want?
I really don't notice the wide jump from 1st to 2nd when I'm up country but sometime do notice it in tight riding like Mcnutt.
As for the linkage, going back and forth between my bike and a linkage(250xc) I really don't notice a difference….
Having said that, if I was in the market for a 200 at the moment I would likely buy a used 150xc and get the 200 jug and crank. Might even make the motor into a 200sx. There was one for sale a few months ago for a steal of a deal.

I like the XC's better as an entire package. The transmission + linkage rear + dual chamber forks work together better. But that said I haven't rode the new 4CS forks, the reviews are poor. I have not had good luck in the past with getting the open chamber WP forks and PDS shock working reliably. And the PDS shock is a PITA to service.
A 150XC [HTML_REMOVED] 200XC conversion would be one hell of a mountain bike. But I thought more was involved than just bolting on the 200 jug. I think there was case differences?
I don't think so. You can change just the jug and get a 188 or just the crank and get a 170 something or do both and get 200. I think the only thing you have to fab is a head stay. I'm likely off on the numbers but I'm pretty sure the cases are the same. Theres been a few builds on ktm talk.
whole lotta bike there…..
