As far as I know, you can do the OFA Level 3 without Level 2 as a prereq.
i looked into it and it was removed shortly after i finished my course. i'm up for renewal in january and i'll be going for level 3 then.

GF's 18yr old kid is doing a level 3 ,started it yesturday
the reason … make good money for uni fighting forest fires next season
apparently you can take the course when you are 16 but you are restricted till you are 19
You do not need level 2 to get your level 3. Level 3 is an extra week which gives you more time to practice and study. There is a lot of information to cover in a short time in both courses. I would suggest pick up your books early and start reading. This will help you during the course. If you are planning to stay in town all you need is your level 2. Level 3 however will give you more options. This is a great certification to have on a resume. Also just good to have the skills to help in the event of an emergency.

Any recommendations on First Aid trainers in the Lower Mainland? Just looking into the one day basic first aid [HTML_REMOVED] CPR course for a bunch of co-workers.
I have the big Worksafe list but there are lots of companies on there I've never heard of.
