for renovations, was getting pretty dirty in there.
best mex food I ever had was some little shack in Eugene Oregon, mexican food in canada is mediocre.

Nothing sums up my life's achievements like my stuffed corpse, suplexing a cougar.
Don Guacamole's on Robson is better than Las Margaritas. There are actually Mexican people eating at Don G's.

Considering what Mexicans eat in Mexico that isn't a vote of confidence.

salsa and agave in yaletown has the best mexican food
Yes i really like…..
but the margarita's are too mucho peso
I was never very impressed by Las Margeritas, it always just tasted like tex-mex to me; white man's "mexican" food. I'm a little biased because I've spent months travelling in Mexico and there's no substitute for the real thing.
Pepe's (can't remember the location, upstairs on broadway maybe?) is really good Mexican food, full experience with real mexican cooks and owners. Go check it out and you'll realize that Las Margeritas is just a name with a trendy clientelle.

lol
maybe not, but the food is really good there. think of it more like if the food in mexico was high quality and a bit fancier, this is what it would be like, without going tex-mex.
