Slayer has always been my ultimate motivation music. (Go figure!) On rides, in the gym, cleaning the house, wherever. From mix tapes to burnt cd's to iTune playlists, when that moment of silence between songs would end and the fury would start, you could feel the tired/lame/lazyness fade and start shredding anew. Music is a huge part of my life and Slayer has been right up at the top for over 20 years.
Absolutely gutted. Condolences to his wife and family, the rest of the band and Slayer fans everywhere. Can't begin to thank you enough Jeff. R.I.P.

From Wikipedia; Hanneman died of liver failure on May 2, 2013, in a local Los Angeles hospital near his home in Southern California's Inland Empire.[8][9] On May 9, 2013, the official cause of death was announced as alcohol-related cirrhosis. Hanneman and his family had apparently been unaware of the extent of the condition until shortly before his death.
