They're calling for about 140mm between now and tomorrow evening. I think that's the most intense rain forecast I've seen in my 10 years living here. The trails will suffer! Hopefully there's no landslides.

Rain and strong winds tonight…
A powerful October storm will arrive on the South Coast tonight. Rainfall with this storm will not be extreme over Metro Vancouver.
The rain of the past ten days plus the forecast heavy rain in the north shore mountains tonight - possibly totalling 70 to 100 millimetres - has prompted the BC River Forecast Centre to issue a high streamflow advisory for the north shore, Howe Sound and the Sea to Sky corridor from Squamish to Whistler. See the advisory at WWW.BCRFC.ENV.GOV.BC.CA/WARNINGS
A wind warning has been issued for Victoria, Metro Vancouver, Howe Sound, the Sunshine Coast, East Vancouver Island and the Southern Gulf Islands. Early season wind storms often damage trees causing downed power lines and local power outages.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended.
