I spend half the year above treeline on the snow. same sun effect as ever . You're not gonna die .
And when you're above the treeline, on snow, it's always sunny and you're outside all day wearing nothing but a speedo...

As a kid I would always burn in early summer and then after a summer of being on the beach would get super dark.
I still tan pretty well, although the first few days I have to wear sunblock to get the colour going.
Don't really see any difference in the last 30 years in sun potency.

Don't judge me.
I burned way more often when i was a kid growing up in Winnipeg. We were outside all summer too. We didn’t wear sun tan lotion as it was called then much except at the beach and mum made us. But that sunscreen was crappy. I’ve had to treat actinic keratosis with efeudex a few years ago. Rather unpleasant to say the least so I avoid the sun now. I’ve always worn hats but now I also wear long sleeved shirts even on hot days if I’m going to be in direct sun. Mountain biking in the woods no. I try and apply sunscreen in the morning. Added to the daily ritual. Shit, shower, shave, shunscreen.
I burned when I was a kid and I burn now. The sun is the same old enemy it always has been.
I don't burn easily but I am noticing more pollution over the south coast.
I'm the right color already and I use a High SPF sunscreen at least a 45 or I just stay covered up ... you white people should get a clue
