I feel like this is a bait question. Of course the atmosphere rotates with the earth.

Hey, no correct answers are allowed!

Back in grade school, teachers always used to encourage discussion by saying "there's no such thing as a stupid question"

My teachers were wrong.

Venus’ atmosphere rotates sixty times faster than its surface.   Does that help?

After our previous extensive work studying airplanes on conveyor belts, I can't think of any group with better bona fides.

Im thinking that the atmosphere rotates with the earth to the extent that constant rotational resistance allows. The layers of the earth have overwhelming resistance between each other so those rotate together, but once you're into air, there is less, especially as you gain altitude.

Fluid dynamics I suppose.

Imagine just how lost you could get if instead of gathering evidence from proof based measurable repeatable experimentation by experts in their field you picked and chose anecdoctal evidence from yahoos on forums.

imagine looking at America's racist moron president in his shitty shapeless suit with that fucked up tangle of yellow bullshit on top of his big dumb pumpkin head, yammering incoherently like a low-wattage imbecile and thinking "oh yeah, my country should have one of these, too"

Close, more of a setup question.

Good to see we can all agree on one thing finally.
