Is our atmosphere actually attached the planet - does it rotate with earth along fixed points basically?

You can point form the answer's with the usual color metaphor's for myself or link up sciency type article's with some e-ASA referencing method.

Are Shogun's theories attached to reality?

I don't know what a Zohner'ism is.

If you think an electron is attached to a proton then to be consistent you should think the atmosphere is attached to the earth.

If you guys need more to work with, consider this a rephrased question:

Does our atmosphere rotate in general unison with the rotation of earth?

And can you just answer the question already? This is not about what I think. At least not yet ;)

Sure, but first define what "fixed" means in context to the question.

I could just infer that you're answer is No based on your electron and proton comment.

I already clarified my question a few posts up if you missed that.

Not with your vague so called question?

So you're also saying No?

I feel like this is a bait question. Of course the atmosphere rotates with the earth.

no the atmosphere does not rotate in unison with the earth. you're asking to vague a question tho. things like the jet stream do essentially stay in the same point relative to the earth, although they move slightly. but the atmosphere is more than the jet stream, it's particles of all kinds and they move all over the earth, the do not stay in one fixed position as you seem to be asking.
