iPhone 4 Reception

Anyone have an iPhone 4? How's the reception in Vancouver. Want to get some feedback before I drop the coin.

you can make calls with these?

seems to do the trick just fine. only caveat is they're pretty fragile; shattered the screen w/ a 2' drop (granted, to pavement, but the previous generation case has better edge protection). using a case is recommended.

no issues so far - I'm using a Griffin Reveal case.

The 4.1 update has changed the bars so not very often do I see 5 bars except near a tower but overall no dropped calls.

i've got the same one (ooo - faux carbon) via the free case programme. probably would have saved my phone if it was available when i first got it. bastards.

Had one for about a month no, no real issues with reception. Using a Griffin Ice case. The only problems I've had are in my old office where I had reception issues with other phones too.

If you buy from the Apple store it is unlocked ad can be used with sim cards world wide. According to Apple Store Canada that is.

In Canadia, you can buy a factory unlocked iPhone 4. Otherwise you'll need to get an iPhone and jailbreak then unlock.

Your Argentina SIM Card (Personal Telecom) will require a SIM-unlocked GSM 850 / 1900 compatible international cell phone. The iPhone should work, but you might want to verify.

I have one in courtenay,I have never seen 5 bars.
but i have never had anydropped calls or anything like that either.

However if you hold the phone jsut right you can totally kill your 3g and cell signal.
