Travelling to Switzerland with our bikes but can only find the maximum baggage insurance at $1500.
Has anyone used an insurance company that will insure their bikes for more then $1500?

Northman insurance is awesome! They can cover you for that. And it's run by a few dudes from Ottawa who mountain bike and do rad stuff outdoors! They can cover up to $5000 I believe.

I had a pair of golf clubs damaged on a plane once that were valued just over $1500. Airline gave me $300 and I was able to get my visa card to cover the difference because I paid for the clubs, plane ticket and baggage fees with the visa - perhaps you can call your credit card company and see if you have any coverage for your bike?
