the automakers have 4 years to make flying cars a reality.

Skullskates has 4 years to make floating skateboards

Nike has 4 years for autolacing shoes.

These better happen.

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

I don't know of a magnetic sculpture shaped like a skateboard counts as an actual hoverboard.

Somehow in that future tangent Iphones and ipods were never invented. Hence the payphone in the middle of the town square. So people had time and motivation to develop cool things like hover boards and autodrying clothes, instead of walking around checking facebook and making fart sounds with the ifart app.

its because with the technology they had when the movie was made they probably couldn't even comprehend the idea of an iphone.
