i'm suprised about the lack of chatter on the Quebec shootings

i'm surprised to see no thread here on the mosque attack in Quebec, even 24hrs after it happened.

i would have suspected a few posters for sure would have made some noise about this. no one cares because it's in Quebec? no one cares because a mosque got shot up this time? is everyone worn out about news stories like this? are US politics simply more interesting? i find the omission it a bit bizzare with the general left and liberal leaning attitude of most people on here.

What needs to be said? We all know it was some misguided nut job a la Lepine who did something awful. What is there to discuss?

Never seen a thread here when a southern baptist church gets firebombed or a synagogue id torched or vandalized.

seeing as 6 people are dead that's a bit more than firebombing or vandalizing a church. reading a couple of online news items there's talk of him being radicalized or a trump supporter. i just find it odd that there was nary a peep and wondered why not.
