The term "handsome" just seems awkward when talking about a pretty lady. Makes them sound kind of homely or masculine IMHO.

I find it weird that there is such an uproar about the pictures. Their job is being a public, living symbol in the gaze of in the public eye. If you don't like it, renounce your titles and go live a private life. Now the Irish Times is under fire for publishing pictures of the "future Queen". Give me a break. The one thing the pundits don't talk about is that the 1/2 mile (800m) infiltration distance the pictures were taken from is also an easy killshot for any decent sniper. There should be an uproar about that fact alone.
