So my wife, daughter and I went for a hike along the Buntzen lake trails yesterday. On the way back we see a group heading towards us. As they got closer it looked like they were wearing costumes. When they were actually close enough to see, it was 5 guys, likely late teens/early 20's(guessing)wearing what looked to be leather masks that looked like dogs. Not funny costumes, like real dog masks. They didn't say a word as they walked past, I remarked "well that's not creepy at all" and they kept on going. We were about 10 minutes from the beach and they were heading away from it.

Pretty much one of the strangest things I've seen.

I wonder what would happen if the 5 dog-men of Coquitlam ran into the Nude Hiker of Coquitlam?

anyone remember the creepy guy who used to walk the trails of SFU wearing a full 2-handed sword, like something you would see on "Vikings"..

They'd hump his leg, of course.

When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity.

When many people suffer from a delusion, it is called religion.

Yeah…saw him once as I was riding up Joe's…he was brandishing the sword front of him. I was so caught off guard and confused that I just kept pedaling past him. Called the police once I got to campus…they'd had other reports of him that morning too.

I think I saw that ass around the Rich Juryn trail system a few summers ago. Literally.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

I am trying to picture one of these masks. Can you find something like it with a google search and show us? I am in that area a lot and I sure as hell don't like the sound of these guys. I mean, I have seen people dressed in costumes for some kind of summer-fun endurance charity things but this time of year? Were they headed down the hydro road towards Indian Arm?

Wrong. Always.
