I can only imagine how you mainlanders would desecrate this place if there was a bridge.

Knowing how much difficulty Vancouverites have getting over the Port Mann Bridge ("OMG I'm in the air! Must slow down to 20KPH!!") I don't think you'd have too much to worry about.

Ugh. I'd rather be in Onterrible than Winterpeg. Even if they do close the lift accessed mountain due to rain :P

Being cheap is OK. Being a clueless sanctimonious condescending douchebag is just Vlad's MO.

JCL. Where else have you lived? Maybe some time away would help your perspective…

30 years in the Motherland. The only reason I'm ever down on BC is because the crappy way the government/councils runs the place. lt could be so much better. Possibly something like New Zealand.

There is a mountain in Ontario? What did they do, pile the provinces garbage and cover it in dirt in Kirkland?

Actually the other option that the wife would be willing to consider would be say Nova Scotia.

For the most part, I've only ridden the pay-for-play bike parks in BC and aside from the massive bone crunching braking bumps, they rock.
Other than that, it's okay if you like view, theivery, rain and old people :)

Huh? I didn't know that Ontario was considered a race and therefore a distinct society.

So that would make JBV a Ontario Canadian by that logic.

BC is full, everything you read above this post is a lie. Stay in Kenora.

Kenora. Been thru the area 3 times in the last four years (on my road trips across the country) and that is One Pretty Town.
Unless yer mistakenly talking about Canora Sask which, on the other hand, aside from this

A giant baba in a babuska kneeding bead/ totally sucks.

Yeah, it was a great weekend to be here. I'm sore but happy from a weekend in the great outdoors. Minimal time spent in roadjeep probably helps.

Wrong. Always.

Maple Mountain. It's about as high as the start of Seventh Secret.

But hey, they sell DH bikes in Florida.

Kenora is actually quite a beautiful little town on the shores of Lake of the Woods. My club just finished cutting a 35km trail just north of there.
