what about any conspiracy theories about this event? seen/found/heard any interesting ones yet?
my best find so far (heard this, no link) is, that they haven't found any actual meteorite debris, even where there should have been something to find because of visible damage, that couldn't have been caused by the shockwave.
The answer? why, the "meteorite" was in fact an alien crash landing. And the russian government is covering up.

Well since you asked… There's going to be an event or a near miss event involving Mars and a large meteor in 2014. Something in the Kuiper belt is moving things. There's also moar crazy talk about a Blue thing in or around or above the sun. Lots of "lens flares" in sky pictures lately too.
