How will you die?

OK I have to chime as I was recently talking about this. I think that most likely I will die in my late 70's or early 80's after falling off my bike (probably on Fromme) and breaking my hip. After the surgery I will realize that my mountain biking days are over. I will be dead within three months.

And it's with this post that a lurker from 2011 speaks up? yikes…

don't know if this is a thread for technicalities, but technically speaking we will all die of shock…

Cardiac arrest actually.

cardiac arrest will stop the blood flow which will deprive organs of oxygen. which then die of shock. = death from no oxygen.

One day I'll take a massive dump and my internal organs will get sucked out in the backwash.

Hopefully it'll be screened live on the internet to Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror.

With any luck it will inspire someone to "make that change".

… worst way to go would be drowing or…

Oddly this is how I'd choose to go. Not drowning per se, but underwater and just black out. Dive down in a trance like state, and just…let go. Like the finale in Le Grand Bleu.

I've blacked out a couple times, once surfing once spearfishing. When i go I'd like to be in the water doing one of these activities, except back home in Vancouver somehow…An unlikely scenario.

Popcorn lung seems to be the first medical evil from that stuff.
