This has been a shitty year. Too many funerals

Each and every one of you will die. Perish. Cease to exist. How's it going to happen for you? How'd you wish it would happen?

Obviously I'd love to fall asleep (a long time from now) and just not wake up, but being at a funeral this past weekend for a guy who died from a sudden , unexpected heart attack, it leaves a real void for family not to be able to say goodbye. Compare that with cancer, which is cruel, but at least family has the chance to say goodbye and come to grips with it to a degree.

sorry to hear you've had such a bad year in terms of losing peeps mr wh0re.

stangley enough i was thinking about this the other night. something like having a good day on the bike, pedal or gas, and then going to sleep and just not waking up.

i think the worst way to go would be drowing or trapped somehow with the fear/panic of the situation being worse than the pain of the death itself.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Suddenly. Which is different from 'while doing something you love'. Think about it…if you're DH biking/rock climbing/auto racing/etc……from experience, we know we're crashing and it's not gonna end good….so the last moments of your life would be terror

If I go before that, hopefully it's from being smothered in boobies.

Most likely, though… it'll be some sort of freak jetpack accident, or something to do with strapping a bunch of weather balloons to a lawnchair.
