I've never used ebay before but I know a few people who have bought cars over it and have been happy but I have been looking around and came across this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Twin-T-urbo-X50-Stage-4-Pkg-K-24-Turbos-over-600hp_W0QQitemZ4644066441QQcategoryZ10156QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

so in 3 days if nobody bids higher or alot higher will the car actaully sell for around $10 000? that seems way too good to be true but i'm not sure how it works

thanks Chad

most of the bidding will occur a half hour to 15 minutes before the auction closes

Has anyone here tried selling a bike on it? I was thinking about throwing my Switch on it and seeing how that goes. Problem #1 is I haven't sold anything with them before so I don't have a 'history'

i sold a bike on ebay once…even bought a few bikes on ebay. as long as you open up a channel of communication with the seller/buyer and keep it open until both parties are happy with the transaction, it's smooth. If you feel wierded out by the person, just don't sell/buy to/from them.

As long as you are smart about your dealings on ebay, life will move smoothly in the land of nod.

dear DW,
since you got like a million bucks now, can i borrow $2850 for a Revolt frame?

thanks,
steve

The trick to selling anything big on ebay is selling a couple small things first (10 I think) so you get a reputation built, and you can set a reserve price.

3 days is way too early.. you want to win an auction you need to bid in the last 15 seconds.
