The wife and I are a planning a trip to Van for the AC/DC concert on Sept 22. The downtown hotel availability is almost nil. What is our next best option for hotel area's that have easy access to downtown?

North Van via SeaBus or Burnaby/New West/Richmond near Skytrain/Canada Line stations?

One of the companies I used to work at would routinely book our out of town employees into either of these two hotels in Burnaby, due to ease of skytraining to downtown:

Executive Inn is right by the Brentwood Mall skytrain station:

I think it's called work for a reason. Or else they probably would have called it fun-time at the fun factory.

Exactly the info I was looking for. Thanks. Ended up in Burnaby. Nothing was available near the Lonsdale Quay.
