Thinking about it….

I just bottled my altbier. First beer under 5%abv for me, and it's delicious so far.

anybody use aseptox for their bottles? advised to use it from the shop owner. no need to sanitize with anything else, and he says it's the best and easiest thing out there. will be using some rinsed/scrubbed howe sound, some new 1L ez tops. with a bottle tree and an avinator i should be good to go

Never heard of it. I used Starsan, which is a tried and trued no-rinse sanitiser. I always have a 1 litre spray bottle of the stuff mixed up. I just pour some into my avinator, 2 quirts and to to the bottle tree!

Hold upside down for 3 seconds two times works well for me to drain bottles - no space to store a silly bottle tree.

Kegs for the win!

Plus the wife has trouble making up her mind what brew to drink, she is a lush who usually ends up have 3 different beers in one evening. A multi-keg option was discussed but having lines for 6 to 8 varieties seemed like too much work !
