Lost power on Saturday at 1:30. Came back on around 3am Sunday. Have a gas stove so we were able to cook dinner. We're only a few trees down in our hood. Could hear sirens all day. All in all things were not so bad. Glad to have our power back.

Ive been without wifi since 2 pm yesterday!!! Oh the humanity.

Still without power at home, but thankfully we live in a civilized country where restaurants have electricity.

Four cars got dinged up in our complex. One old convertable Caddie with a branch through the ragtop.

I went to work. Sat in darkness for 6 hrs and went home. Had no wifi in the apartment and my wife nearly maxed out the data plan for her phone. I'm surprised we all made it through the night alive.

We lost power around 12:30 yesterday and came back on at 9:45. Thankful that it was still pretty warm out, and between a bbq and gas range we pretty much carried on as usual. Trees down everywhere, lots of young trees along roadways in Coquitlam just blown over. I could hear trees cracking and falling from my house (Burke Mtn). The roads were a mess all around, it was like driving on a bed of green leaves and branches.

With the power out and everything quiet it was pretty nice. I actually read a book. I didn't even know I had a book.

i was out doing trail work for a good chunk of the day yesterday and was surprised how little rain we got. i spent the whole day in a fleece top and didn't need the rain jacket at all. the wind wasn't all that bad either, only a few trees down from what i could see and they were off the beaten path.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

I was hanging on for dear life up on a roof yesterday…then had to make my way downtown risking life and limb because nobody knows what a 4 way stop procedure. Power at home was out from 1130 am to 430 am. BBQ hot dogs for dinner.
