Yes, Holberg. Here are a couple pics of the dozens of washouts from the heavy rain in the fall. Unfortunately there are still tons that haven’t been repaired and probably won’t be for years.

They didn't dismantle the bridge?

The bridge was in the process of being repaired.

I’ve had it for about a year now, though eight of those months I was at sea for and the last two in Vancouver so I really haven’t driven it a ton. I bought it from a friend who imported it from California in 2009 so it’s LHD and has no rust. He didn’t want to sell it but needed a bigger vehicle for his kids. I haven’t had any issues and as long as the preventative maintenance is kept up I expect it to go to a least 500 000 miles (currently 185 000). Ih8mud is a fantastic resource for land cruisers if anything does go wrong. I like it a lot and being a 1996 it’s one of the best years. It is build like a tank and can go pretty much anywhere, but the fuel economy reflects that - 14mpg hwy and less anywhere else.

Yes, Cape Scott is good to go, just need to go through the WFP yard and across the bridge there to bypass the washed out one until it is fixed.

Standard op for road accident, they don't always get exact details on roll out.
