He Who Must Not Be Named

In other words: many of the people actually running Trump’s reelection operation are now saying they somehow had zero clue that an entire documentary was being filmed largely about Trump and his reelection campaign. And now the fruits of that doc are being mined for evidence by the congressional committee investigating Trump and his multi-pronged efforts to shred the American democratic order.
How the fuck can anyone film a doc without any of these people knowing? Did they not question the cameras? This has to be the stupidest conspiracy in American history.
LOL!!
How is the Jan 6 committee only hearing about it now?
If you look at the labels on Trump's clothes I bet they say HUBRIS.

Because it's Washington. Everyone is hedging their bets and waiting until it's more clear who will come out on top. Public opinion is starting to turn against Trump, the further he sinks into disfavor, the more people will come out of the woodworks with evidence. Unfortunately for Trump, as opinion turns, the people rolling over on him get closer and closer and the evidence tends to get more damning. Imagine the tales someone like Jim Jordan, Devin Nunes or John Eastman would tell.

DeSantis is up for re-election in the fall and he hasn't asked for Trump's endorsement. Maybe the rats are finally jumping.
Well, sounds like it was Matt Gaetz, Louis Gohmert and Mo Brooks advocating for pardons personally, and recommending pre-emptive 'blanket pardons' for legislators and staff involved in the December 21st meeting and on January 6th. Almost like what they knew what they were doing was illegal.
And the USA continues their march towards White Christian Ethno-State. Gonna be a rough few years....
Clarence Thomas already drooling over chance to reverse rulings that protect contraception, same-sex marriage, and gay sex.

/\They'll be full steam ahead.
And apparently there's legal precedent. Removing abortion rights from the constitution was based on the argument that it's not steeped in Americas history and traditions. Abortion rights were 50 years old. Rights to contraception, gay marriage, and marriage between black and white people are more recent.
The court has found in the past that unenumerated rights must be "deeply rooted in this Nation's history and tradition."
Alito's logic is that when the 14th Amendment was passed, in 1868, American law didn't recognize abortion as a fundamental right. And therefore, abortion isn't "deeply rooted in this Nation's history" and is not protected by that amendment.
That logic could easily carry over to a lot of other rights, says Mary Ziegler, a visiting professor at Harvard Law School.
"At the time the relevant part of the Constitution was written, same-sex couples could not marry. Interracial couples certainly couldn't marry. Birth control was being criminalized," she said. "And so the logic is, if that's how we determine where our constitutional rights begin and end, there's no reason that would stop with abortion."

Uhhh, Clarence,
Whadda ya gonna do about your white wife?
Cant pick and choose as to whats "deeply ingrained in American tradition" !!!
So glad to be a Canadian. Mind you, there's still the freedom convoy wingnuts aplenty. Makes me dislike our own flag now. Couldn't they have come up with their own?
Sorry for the thread hijack!
Holy shit. Surprise hearing is delivering. First hand account of Trump telling the Secret Service to remove the magnetic weapons detectors at the rally. 'They're not here to hurt me, take the f***ing mags away' 'I don't care if they have weapons' 'We can march to the Capitol from here'

They had MAGA and Don't Tread on Me flags. When I saw those flags at one of the first convoys down Broadway I knew who was pulling our strings.
Double holy shit. Third hand account of Trump going for the head of his Security Detail's throat when they refused to take him to the Capitol.
