Hey NSMB, a rare intersection of mountain biking and my current career activities in telecom:

If you have seen a radio tower on top of a mountain that is NOT on this map, please tell me about it.

Ignore the "White Rock Temp 16th" and "Lonsdale Quay" placemarks, those are temporary rooftop signal strength survey sites.

As you may notice from the topo map Delta and Richmond are practically in the ocean. This is using a 10 meter contour.

What type of radio?

Any sort of radio/telecom/microwave/TV/etc purposed structure 4 meters or higher on a mountain top, doesn't matter what sort of antenna or radio it's holding.

There are actually 3 large antennae on Seymour, and there used t be 3 smaller ones that I think are still there, one in the maintenance shop of the ski hill, one in the building in parking lot 2(at least in the old building that burned down) an there as some gear in the old ridge chairlift building.

I know about Cypress, the smaller ones east of Vancouver I'm more interested in… Seymour is obvious when you can see the aircraft warning lights blinking on the towers from downtown.

So you're some sort of domestic terrorist right? You gonna find out where our towers are and then take out are crappy cell phone network and take Steve Darling off TV. Wait I'm with you on that last one.

There is one on the top of McKee Point (summit of Ledgeview). There is also a new one on Sumas Mtn, left off of Upper Sumas Mtn Rd, south of Foxglove Lane. Also, there is a weather station on the summit of Taggart Peak, which is the second to largest peak on the Sumas Mtn Range. You can access their weather data here: http://www.ve7rva.ca/

Your map doesn't show that far West but are you interested in the towers on Bowen Island? There are 2 locations on Gardner.
