The majority of NSMB is probably enjoying turkey right now, but I would like to offer up my thanks for the many blessings I, and likely many of you enjoy as well.

Here's to family, good friends and a full stomach! :)

Gobble gobble - 'tis the season when we hear the plaintive cries of wet rotors going gobble gobble.

Turkey day food favourites after Turkey?

Candied Yams (but not with marshmallows, but made with Maple syrup, hmmmm), mind you I'm partial to mashed carrot and neeps too.

It seems the only people in this country that are doing thanksgiving are the Canadian embassy staff. Bastards are holding up a meeting with this "Monday off" 'shens.

It's fries, fish and Guinness for me this thanksgiving. Rock out hard NSMB!

The holiday, as is, has little significant historical merit anyways (wiki). I'm kind of surprised the the first nation reconciliation movement over the last few decades didn't 'solve' this omission of purpose.

With that said: Why can't it be both days ya bastard! Food commas don't have to be just one day you know. :P

Commas, comas. It's all the same when Guinness down here is $1 US and the client is paying for it.

You're still a bastard. :D
