McDonald's exploits very young California children and harms their health by advertising unhealthy happy meals with toys directly to them," the suit states.

thank god it's only California's children who are dumb enough to fall for the marketing.

I guess I better contact Wee Fokkum and Howe the next time I'm in Wal Mart when Gabi starts whining about a toy. Having toy's there makes shopping to stressful.

Slippery slope litigation wise. First they sue Happy Meal, next they sue Happy Ending. Just saying.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest says most McDonald's Happy Meals contain more calories and sodium than is healthy for a child.

I think Ham has got it. I've heard that foot meat is the entry level drug of poor diets.

But how are you supposed to be happy? What if they just call them Fatty Meals?

Based on all the happy meal options a kid can eat between 300 - 700 calories in a sitting (but lets be realistic how many kids go to macca's and have apple slices instead of fries!!! so most kids are probably consuming between 500-700 calories in one sitting!

Sadly I don't think banning happy meals is really going to solve the problem…

I don't really think suing MacD's is really going to fix a whole lot. There needs to be legislation preventing marketing high risk items to young children. IMO anyway, it's kind of a grey issue.
