Brought it home last night.
Scared myself in it today.. A lot of power in a little 50 year old box

oh yeah its loud in there. Its got a steel doghouse for the motor, removed for dramatic effect..
Once we get the headers bolted up and straight pipes out the side its gonna have quite a bark.

That would have come with a 200 cid 6 cylinder, does the engine actualy fit in the doghouse?

my buddy had one and we drove it to oregon for a long weekend a very long time ago

those vans often had droupy door hinges

Door hinges = excellent. No droop.
and a custom doghouse made out of 1/8" plate fits like a glove

love it , there used to be a tan colored one driving around Maple Ridge yrs back .

and as a kid there was several of my friends older brothers and their friends who had the license were fixing those and the Chevy and Fargo versions up .

I had a similar unit that I lived in one summer. Slept me and my surfboard comfortably beside the Whistler skatepark.

Loved that van…I think mine was a '72
