It's too bad his skills haven't translated into actual WRC rally success….oops did I say that out loud? :p

I guess it is like guys that make MTB videos that don't win downhill races. They drown their sorrows in groupies.

Yeah but many freeriders don't even try to win World Cups, they just freeride.

Block is trying to compete in WRC, he's just no Loeb.

You could say that about all other rally drivers though. There are a few that can keep up but not with the consistency or mr Loeb.

These videos are what drifting competitions should be like…and he does a whole lot better in WRC than any of the drifters would. (maybe Millen could do something worthwhile)

3 million views in a day - he's got his sponsors eating out of the palm of his hand. He doesn't need to give a shit about winning rally races, they're just gravy.

Exactly, most people don't give a shit that he can't win the rally races. We just got to watch a very entertaining video. Even if he's not the best, he still has great style and is fun to watch.

IC, but I would think trying to win races [HTML_REMOVED] not trying to win races.

i gotta be honest i'd rather commit to watching this 10 min video then a full blown rally anyways..

so i guess i fit in perfectly with his sponsors wishs.

and even loeb raced this years x-games, so bigger coverage seems to be important, even for world champions…

None of which saw success in WRC? Wait maybe millen did a lil.

Bahaha wrong. He was in it for the money, beating chumps like crystrana and block is like waking up in the morning for him.

Video was cool, not so much of a dc dhoes add for once…

The local news here did a story on the permitting process and street closures:

$1,000,000 revenue for the city plus free promotion! Amazing thing is that very few people even knew this filming took place yet the video looks like the city was shut down. Nice work by the SF Film Commission.

who cares if he isn't winning races. Fairclough isn't winning anything or even coming close but everyone wants to watch him ride. I'm sure anyone on the boards would give their left nut to have KB's lifestyle. Haters are going to hate.
