gym weirdos....

i almost didn't want to mention the Asian dudes. don't want to be a prick or sound racist, but man there is something funny about young Asian guys (Chinese i think) at the gym. they have the opposite complex of the young bulls who try to lift too much weight. they try to lift as little as possible and don't seem to care. making up new and weird movements that i've never seen before and don't seem to be related to exertion in any way. they don't make me shake my head, they make me stifle laughter at how bizzare they are. i'll def look up that Mr Universe movie.

How about the older asian folk with their strange exercises…. Walking backwards on the treadmill while helicoptering their arms in circles, one arm bench presses. One guy sets himself up on the dip bars and then just shakes his body, no dips.

For those of us that go to the local rec centre/pool. How about them old naked guys casually walking around the change rooms….c'mon really?!

Do not laugh at the Power of The One Arm Bench Press. Just try it, with a weight heavier than the average paper weight, say upwards from 40 to 50 pounds.

Steam rooms is where shit gets really weird. I'm sitting in the steam room at mount royal college in calgary and this guy walk in naked (not a big deal lots of people do that). He then proceeds to start shaving his chest, stomach and then right on down to the boys. May I also mention that there isn't a hose in this steam room. Just nasty and no respect.

There is a group of about 5 guys that frequent my local gym. Age ranging from high school to mid 20's. My buddy and I call them 'leg day' as not once have we ever seen them do a single workout for anything below the abs. The oldest and largest of the group has arms the diameter of a football, and legs about 1/4 that.

How about the train spotters? Choooo chooo chooo chooo they chuff away on the bench machine while buddy with the NFL moustache spots him. On the machine. Not free weights. Choo choo choo.

How many body builders does it take to change a light bulb? Three.

One to change the bulb and two to spot him and tell him: " you are looking huge man HUGE."
