i think overall it would be hand guns, but really whats the difference?
Guns in America
well in America the average citizen can easily buy a handgun which they can also easily conceal, in a holster under the arm, under the car seat in the waist band of pants , in a pocket but where do you conceal an assault rifle or any rifle ?
In comparison getting a legal handgun is pretty hard/highly regulated and most legal weapons in Canada are long and hard to conceal
there is a graph some where showing that Handguns kill way more people than automatic rifles do because you have to actualy be planning a mass killing as opposed to a robbery or being pissed off at some ONE
Having said that I think there is no way they wouldn't ban automatic weapons if they were banning handguns
which is all hypothetical cuz they aren't going to ban anything

Automatic weapons were banned decades ago.

yeah right, so how hard its it to convert a semi auto to full auto
I bet you could find a full auto a lot easier in America than Canada
and how about them bump stocks eh ?
same with Canada they banned Auto's but they were actualy grandfathered
and so back in the 80's or so I was on course with a large systems guy from Hamilton who had a collection
Saw an interesting piece the other day about how simple it is to CNC mill your legal AR into full auto. Grab your AR and buy a $2000 CNC milling machine and the files to mill fully automatic slide on lowers, resulting in a fully automatic M16 (also without a serial number) are readily available. Open lap top, click mill, slide the shiny new lower onto the gun. There's videos all over youtube. What the hell is wrong with this world?
Our friends down south have a problem that is impossible to fix. Its all promoted under the guise of the 2nd. When they eventually realize that the only way they are going to solve the issue is by collecting all those guns, the NRA will say "you see, this is why we need guns, to prevent the government from taking away our guns".

that's not entirely correct.
The most shocking thing so far is that Farmer has only found issue with very minor comments thus far.
Farmer, what are your thoughts of humans being allowed to drive given the costs incurred to society?

Like I said before, it's a class issue. The wealthy can afford them.
That rifle on the wall of the labourer’s cottage or working class flat is the symbol of democracy. It is our job to see that it stays there.

You don't need to be a gunsmith, although if you are you can probably do it freehand with a drill press and some sandpaper. All you need is to have access to a CNC machine. And before you know it you have an untraceable (because no serial number) fully functioning automatic assault rifle. This world is getting shittier by the day.

And because of the inter-webs that knowledge is universal and can be utilized when battling the fascists.
tungsten, you are the biggest optimist I know.
People only vote for one of two parties, regardless of the fact the degrees of difference between them have little impact on their life outside of being able to go apoplectic on Facebook when their team is on the defensive.
Asking these same people to raise arms to fight unmanned drones is a bit of a stretch.

Typed in "Milling Low" into Youtube search before "Milling Lower Receiver AR-15" was auto-filled. First video I clicked on had two cousin fuckers discussing how to mill up the lower with a few Porter-Cable hand routers and a Dewalt drill...

Well shit, I could never do that cause my drill is Makita.
