Guns
Hmmmm maybe ill come out again and shoot that! lol
You're more than welcome to come back out and chuck some lead down range. Let's set something up.
Fuck I gotta get me a K31, before they get too expensive.
They are an amazing rifle, probably the best shooting milsurp you can get your hands on in North America. Straight pull bolt, two stage trigger, and incredibly accurate. The G11 surplus ammo is starting to get harder to find but it is probably the best surplus you can buy.
This is my second K31 - the other one I have a side-mounted scope on it. Plus I also picked up a K11 that still shoots amazing, even being over 100 years old. Recoil isn't too bad, but I do wear a shoulder pad if I plan pn shooting over 20 rounds as they only have a metal butt plate. Plus I also have the soldiers' name cards from under the butt plate, so I know who has owned these rifles from the past - which is kinda cool.
The Swiss know how to build a quality gun.
who sells them only seen old Mosin and SKS types forsale

wholesale sports had them and the ammo nice a cheap, thats where we got my buddies.
Not sure whos got em now.
I find them tough to shoot off hand since they are kinda heavy.
I bought one at WSS in Langley along with a few cases of ammo. I paid $300 for the rifle and $300 for the case of 480 rounds of G11. Retailers are asking more now for the rifles and WSS no longer sells the cases, only packages of 40 and it works out to $480 I think for the same 480 rounds.
I bought my last K31 and K11 together for $600 including shipping - so that is an alright price. Calgary Shooting Centre is bringing some in from time to time but they are now charging $400 to $600 depending on condition.
I've heard they get ordered from a distributor in the Toronto area.
guy at work mentioned CT in Chilliwack has/had Mosin 's for $180 and ammo by the 1000rd case for $250ish , checked out CT in Abby they have ton of guns when compared to Maple Ridge and Mission

Some CT's have gone all in. I was at the one in Merritt and they had an awesome selection of guns - a Chiappa Triple Crown three barrel shotgun, a Savage .338 Lapua and the T-model shotguns (like the ones in Terminator) that the owner said were selling like hotcakes up there. Good - I think the general public needs to be less sensitive to guns, like they were in the past. Hell, Sears even had their own models.
they had a double barrel dual cal Chippa , was a 22lr/.410 , if it was 22mag/20g i would have scooped it and dealt with the wife later LOL she was wish me LOL .
yeah as a kid I lived around Lougheed Mall and the Woolco also had a full rack of guns , there was a gun shop on the main drag in Port Moody , there was a shop in Poco on Kingsway , was a different time guns where more open

Do yourself a big favour and just ignore Chiappa guns - they charge way too much money for low quality guns. I wanted one of those Double Badgers that you looked at, but the more I read about them I actually cancelled my order with Wanstalls.
If you want a dual barrel (and they often have issues with open sights) - then look for an old Savage 24. I have one in .22 over and 20 gauge under, but they did have some with 30-30 upper and 20 gauge lower and a variety of combinations. Anything other than .22/.410 will cost you some $$$. The new model 42 is junk - it's called a Savage 42 and it only comes in .22 upper and .410 lower barrel.
the badger was almost $100 cheaper than the model 42 they had one there as well , there was a couple Savage bolt action in .17 as well one wsm the other hmr

Still a $100 too much. Both are poor choices - do a little digging into them.
