Woah - 2,000 feet per second from a 1911? I wonder how that feels shooting? I hadn't heard of it before - thanks.

$0.50 per round isn't that pricey. Some regular .22LR rounds are up to $0.20 per round, most around $0.08. I shoot 7mm MAG - it can be $75 per 25 for good ammo - so I reload all my own ammo now.

I was comparing the price to some of the other small arms ammunition they sell and the 22tcm was almost double the cost as the .380 and similar

The 5.7x28 better look out.

On a side note, the russians had 85gr 30 cal bullet coming out of a 5 inch barrel at 1700fps with a hot load in the 30s.

Decided to try another set of grips on my MKIII. These are the same thickness as the stock grips for this new style and my initial impression is that it feels smaller in my hand. These may be for sale soon after their first range visit.

After I cleaned, reassembled, and swapped grips on my MKIII, I mounted my brand new diopter on my very old Swiss K31. I'm looking forward to learning to shoot with a diopter. Not sure my shoulder is, though.
