You just need something to bitch about - go fuck up all the other threads as usual. Those of us that are law-abiding gun owners need to stay united to sustain our freedoms, not internal fight like you and the mtb community.

I agree that you guys should be able to have guns. I'm not even slightly anti-gun.

Ordered my son a 20g O/U the other day, it will be one of his Xmas gifts. He really wanted to come out hunting with me this year but I think he needs another year to grow a little and also get more trigger time with an adequate gun.

I ordered this little guy, from Corwin-Arms. Martin there is a good guy, he is actually giving me the upgraded shotgun for the same price. The gun has been getting good reviews, so I think it will be a great first hunting gun. He can load bird shot in the upper barrel and a slug in the lower.

I also ordered their shotgun sight that I am going to actually try both on my revolver and also my long recoil shotgun. Martin never thought about the revolver application (all mine have vented shrouds) - so he is eager to here my review and will be giving a deal on another if it works for both applications.

How are the scopes on that site? They seem reasonably priced, but I have never heard of them before.

Not sure, Lu. Typically Corwin brings in good products, they are just from countries that don't sell a lot in Canada. The shotgun I ordered is made in the same plant as Winchester shotguns in Turkey, for example.

I did once a while back. Loved it, ran out of money real quick though.

Got some good time at the range today - always a good thing. I got two squib loads with my .38 SPL reloads, so something isn't right there and I gotta figure that one out quickly. Tried the new 20g and I really like that little O/U - hopefully it isn't too much kick for my little guy.

Couple gun related jokes for the group:

I came clean with the wife the other day that I dropped $500 on a new goalie glove.
That said, I came clean only after injuring myself during my first game with that glove.

Fate has a way of kicking you in the balls sometimes.

Who's heading out hunting? Who's already been? I'll be heading up north around Thanksgiving, hunting moose and mulies again - I can't wait.

Don't forget your regs.
