greatest individual scream in rock history
Maynard in tools the grudge is a pretty epic scream

not the best screamer, but the best singular scream. highly subjective and debatable of course.
the Who, don't get fooled again, probably.
after listening to Soundgarden today, i'm thinking the scream in 'let me drown' is possibly the meanest, evilest scream i can think of.
I agree with don't get fooled again. Daltrey must have needed a throat lozenge after that one.
Zac de la Roca from Rage near the end of "Freedom" should get an honorable mention.

this is outrageous, and amazing.
Shame the live version is a little washed out compared to the "record" as Tortelvis put it.
You have to respect the local talent though:

By my calculations, the "scream solo" lasts from 1:18 to 1:39.
But, was there anyone whose entire career was built around screaming quite like Thijs van Leer?

You may think, "but that's just Yodelling!" Wait for it...
