Don't know about smart TVs but the Redbull channel on Apple TV is all free and has tons of good stuff to watch.

Blood road is a good doc about this American woman who's dad was shot down and killed during the Vietnam war. She rides the Ho Chi Minh trail to the crash site. Something different...

On a related note... I liked Ken Burns' The Vietnam War documentary. I was flipping through the channels last night and stumbled across The Fog Of War... listening to McNamara, who was remarkably lucid at 85, discuss his career from WW2, to working for Ford, through Secretary of Defense was pretty interesting.

Everything I have watched by Ken Burns has been impressive. I watched Country a few months back, I'm not really a country music fan, but wow, what a documentary.

Any road racing nerds might like the movistar team doc series on Netflix, 'the least expected day'. I find it interesting how honest+candid they are, especially when they have bad results, almost too much that it makes some of them look bad haha. I found the first episode a little confusing as it was like an intro and jumped around to all the different races, but it gets better in the episodes following the giro. All Spanish with subtitles.

And even if you don't follow formula 1 (I barely do), the drive to survive doc series on Netflix is really good.

Same for me - not a big F1 follower, but this was a really good deep dive into the team and racing culture.

I saw Operation Odessa last night and it was a fuck of a fun watch. New York mobster moves to Miami, opens a strip club, gets in tight with Columbians, Russians and a few other guys and tries to buy a Soviet sub to smuggle cocaine into the US.

Been watching a lot of Cody Townsend's "The Fifty Project" recently on Youtube - would recommend.

Good, nothing touches Band of Brothers tho. Rami Malek is in the Pacific and plays a good part. Def worth the watch....

Pacific was good, not as good as BoB in my opinion. I've watch BoB at least twice a year. I love it.

If you can find it I would highly recommend watching The Take. It's a 4 part miniseries with Tom Hardy that came out right before he was really starting to get attention and it is awesome.

Our Planet.

The level of cinematography is just getting ridiculous.

Looks like full episodes are all available on YouTube now if you don't have Netflix.
