This is sad.

even if i was serious, i think "sad" is a bit of a stretch. i'm not enough of a techie to care, but a lot of people really geek out about this kind of shit.

it is like paying $1000 for a $600 ipad because you don't want to wait a month until you can get one.. not something i'd likely do but many people would

this space is intentionally blank, other than this note about it being blank.

I'd like one too if someone has a spare.

They should have gone with Google++. Fits their quirky nerd persona better. Just like bidding pi times a billion for Nortel patents.

I'm starting my own social network called Gangsta++. Send six pack for invite.

I guess if you thought I was serious and actually cared about getting an invite it could be kind of ironic - but sort of a morresette type

They've shut down invites again. When they are back I'll try to hit you up. It'll replace the 6 pack I was going to buy you as a gift for your new Job.

I think it makes you look like a whore.

Cheers, but it seems Infamous beat you to it. I like Red Racer ;)

I haven't gotten the invite yet, but it could take a while from what I hear.

I've heard it said that privacy is the most valuable commodity these days. So many people are cheerfully giving theirs up that there's not much left.

Everyone thinks they have it, but they don't. Facebook and Google+ are a part of it.

This isn't so much a privacy issue but it is an example of where reading the fine print can be eye openning http://photofocus.com/2011/07/06/google-plus-read-the-fine-print-before-you-sign-up/

^^ that's hilarious. "You post it on our site. We own dat b*tch"

Reminds me of when Guitar Center in the US had a "try out to be the guitarist in Limp Bizkit" contest. Basically they held tryouts at various stores and the winner got to tour with the band. Fine print was that you had to play original stuff, and anything you played then became the property of Limp Bizkit. Clever stuff
