No car? That would open your options up.
Walk down to Bridge Brewery, or Wildeye? Both have some decent food options
You're right next to a Denny's. What more could you need?

That would have been fine back in 2004 lol.
Id like to avoid driving if possible since I'd be in a shared company car.

I saw bridge brewery I'll check both those out.
Mumbai for Indian food at Park and Tilford?
In order of increasing distance from the only Holiday Inn in North Van:
Two restaurants, Seymours and Medleys right in the hotel, both pretty good, considering.
Westview Pizza, right across the street. Family run, the Managers Special is our go to.
Superstore right across the street for groceries
Bridge Brewing- Tell them you came for the tacos, not the hotdogs
Canadian Tire on Main has a few fast food takeouts, Keep going across the street to Wildeye Brewing
Park and Tilford Gardens has a couple takeouts, most notable is Mumbai Masala Indian restaurant
Colony Bar Northwoods and Deep Cove Brew, bit of a longer walk but still doable. Walk through Seymour River Heritage Park to get there ,
CrabShack, take out fish n chips, a fair bit further to walk.
Palki Restaurant delivers excellent Indian food. Not a walk.
Consider getting a Lime account to rent the stationless e-bikes that are standing everywhere around here. They are literally sitting on the bike path between the hotel and Cap U. Just BYO helmet and ride to Lonsdale Queue on Spirit Trail bike path the whole way Lots to choose from around the Q
Wrong holiday inn, he’s over at cap road.
Head east and you don’t get much, Casa Corsi for Italian or Tomahaw for a greasy breakfast.
Head west over the river and you have options at park Royal: Italian kitchen, keg, cactus club etc
If you have time for a long walk or bike ride, savoury island pie co and sushi options on Marine near Ambleside

I was “this close” to asking if he meant Cap Road or Cap U. Then I remembered the hotel on Cap road *used to be* a Holiday Inn. Beside my favourite Denny’s
Ahh I totally spaced on CapU.
Well if your on this side than tour de feast on Mtn Hwy if it’s still open!
I know it requires a car, but sandwiches at Dip Co in the Cove are the best.
Park Royal Shopping Centre has some good eats:
Milestone,Cactus Club, Lighthouse Pub, White Spot, Nandos, Five Guys, Zubu Ramen, Chipotle, Whole Foods (prepared food section) just to name a few there. Go west from there past Ambleside and there are plenty more little gems.
Going the other side of Cap road along Marine Dr. Check out Tomahawk it’s a hidden gem.

North Van near Capilano
You’re gonna have to clarify which Capilano or risk being sent walking to West Van. Road, River or University?
Is there more than one holiday inn?
Pretty sure it's the one by the university
My bad, It's been a while. Holiday Inn is by Cap U on the north shore.
