Alrighty, back to the drawing board on this one.

We'd still love to hear suggestions on how to make your nsmb experience better.

Thanks!

Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.

I'll do it if I can trade rep for $$ to use in the NSMB store.

That's the problem with cities, they're refuges for the weak, the fish that didn't evolve.

I don't want to google this - sounds like a thing that NSMB will be better at.

I'll support nsmb by clicking the odd ad and/or buying branded shirts/gear from the store, but the yearly subscription for forum perks is a hard sell on any forum I've seen try it.

Throw in a shirt and the ability to ban three people, and people will bite.

An annual t-shirt would be nice or a dvd.

And…a short question…..is nsmb in financial troubled waters?

This could work. Community based privileges are worth paying for, but definitely not as it stands. Feel free to PM me for help making this not suck.

One more voice in the "this is lame" camp… Maybe if there were some useful benefits, I would briefly consider paying, but as it stands, $30 gets you nothing useful. T-shirts and DVDs I'll buy, but what you've outlined above only serves to create badwill (is that the opposite of goodwill?) among the majority of the users since it looks like you're out to make a fast buck off them for nothing in return.

Having said that, as soon as I start working again (next week I hope?!), I'll head over to the NSMB store and buy something to support the site.

Way back from the old school days of NSMB…

Can't really blame NSMB for trying to generate revenue. I know it's not cheap to keep things running.

That being said, $30 is a bit much for not much extra features. Other forums that I frequent did the same thing and the cost is $15/year or $30 for 3 yrs and they have way more features.

What about a private forum to keep the half-wits out?

I love the site and wouldn't mind throwing a bit of cash your way, but I'm sorry to say I don't see much of value there.

If NSMB needs help, I'd support just to keep this board alive, not to get some stupid benefits.

Similar to what others have said, if NSMB is having a hard time I don't mind chipping in but I could care less about little forum perks.
