Wingsuit.

trick is finding a steep enough send off to get horizonal seperation as you need a couple hundred feet to get flying.

now base jump with a tandem rig and a lion attached to the front of you… that, would be epic.

Mt Shuksan. It's across the border, close to Baker, not a long drive. Pretty cool mountain. A bit over 9000 feet high. Bring your iceaxe [HTML_REMOVED] crampons.

If you're up for the ferry ride and the quick drive up to Strathcona Park - lots of peaks to climb…

big picture is big - so here's the link…http://photos.nsmb.com/files/2/5/1/2/5/p3060605___small.jpg

Peak accessed from Lions Bay
Mt. Harvey
The Lions (Binkert trail)
Mt. Brunswick
Mt. Hanover

Any of these are awesome. Harvey is 100% recommended.

This is a fantastic book if you are looking for hikes in southwest BC.

I always look at that driving up and down the coquihalla and wonder how much avid would pay me to do a commercial for them riding down that rockface on their brakes.

Hasn't every mtb'r looked at that rockface and wondered what it would be like to ride down it?!

But that's driving in BC - oooh, that'd be cool to ski down; ooh, look at that - what a cool line to ride!

Check out Mt. Tomyhoi accessed off of the Mt. Baker Hwy. Wicked climb/hike with awesome views of the Border Peaks, Cheam, etc. The summit is tiny, so you feel like you are truly on top of the world!

Definitely no shortage of amazing mountains in BC! Black Tusk has always been one of my favourites. Strathcona park is pretty cool, but bring your snow shoes/crampons/etc because there is a shitload of snow up there this year.

My computer wallpaper also made me want to poach the most overphotographed Canadian Mountain scene ever, Moraine Lake. Maybe I'll just man up and drive to Banff to reshoot it from the same angle and climb Mt Temple which overlooks the lake.

Picturesque is KEY!

who remembers the article in Powder (I think) about skiing the $20 couloir?

Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!

Nothing sums up my life's achievements like my stuffed corpse, suplexing a cougar.

Check out Mt. Frosty at manning park. Pretty nice hike, you can go right to the top. Peak is like 8000ft or something and you start around 3000.

The guys going on about Cheam have the right idea, but they've missed that you don't climb Cheam, you traverse the range. Cheam, Lady, Knight, Baby Munday, the Still, Welch and Foley I think. Either the whole traverse, or parts of it are quite worthwhile. You could spend half a lifetime exploring the peaks reachable off of Chilliwack River Valley.

Being cheap is OK. Being a clueless sanctimonious condescending douchebag is just Vlad's MO.

Done Frosty for the last three years. Always a good hike.
