I want super scenic, legitimate rocky peak where I'm higher than the other mountains. I know it's Aprilish, but I wanna find something good for the summer.
Did Goldenears base to peak and back day hike and that was super solid, something like that, maybe an overnighter if it's worth it. Lower mainland preferably

Come on, I know y'all don't sit on ur asses on nsmb all day, give me the BC goods!

Heres a couple from goldenears, unfortunately the clouds wouldnt givr on outta there

Mt Cheam is a pretty easy hike if you have a vehicle that can make it to the trail head. Sweet views from the peak. Black Tusk is another good one, with a bit of a trickier ascent if you're comfortable doing some exposed scrambling. Needle Peak, up the Coquihalla is a nice scramble as well.

Those are the first few that come to mind, but there are tons of mountains around here begging to be climbed. Check out any of the hiking books for this area, or Scambles in Southwest BC by Matt Gunn.

Way back from the old school days of NSMB…

Mount MacFarlane (usually referred to as Pierce Lake trail) is a long hike, with great views and great lakes. Max Elev. is 2090m

Pierce Lake Trail

I have not done Williams ridge, but I have heard excellent things.

Williams ridge

I'll second the Cheam recommendation too. It is pretty short but has one of the highest elevations. However, it is always very busy and the lake is a mudhole now, due to avalanches.

I always look at that driving up and down the coquihalla and wonder how much avid would pay me to do a commercial for them riding down that rockface on their brakes.

And I'm down for more than an easy hike people. I'm young and invincible! (but no seriously keep em comin)

black tusk is a great hike, also look into mt garibaldi. it is just under 9000 feet. You might need ropes and cramp ones depending on when you go and how skilled you are.

Correction: you will need to be roped and wearing crampons if you don't want to die in a crevasse.

+1 on the Lions, if you want to make it more exciting climb it in the rain with a worn out pair of sneakers. On second thought, don't do that, or try to hike down the grind at sunset only wearing a pair of Teva's, bad ideas!

alright!!!

Robie reid, its the peak behind golden ears (north east), its bigger harder and a longer hike. But it is possible to do it in a day if your uber fit and gung ho. Trail info is on clubtread.
