Even if he gets the book thrown at him nothing will change until they start taking a harder line with all of the so called bad apples.

Did Dante Alighieri in his "Divine Comedy" not say that there is a special place for lawyers in hell?

What did you think the defence was going to do, roll over?

Where’s the part that a juror lied during selection?

EXACTLY! This is their move. The defense basically said they were going to do this when they motioned for a mistrial.

Why are you posting links that have NOTHING to do with your claim that a juror lied during selection?

Don’t be a shogun.

I find it quite amazing the level of civility as of late, the degree to which that guy brought out everbuddie's " inner cunt "was only evident once he was gone  was gone.

There were people who read/post in the gear forum who wouldn't come here, wouldn't dare think about trying to contribute ...hopefully that changes

Don't tell me how to post. Link is topical to thread topic. You want me to post it in a seperate link because, what, you think I should burn more band width or the people here are too stupid to figure that out?

Admit it, Kiriakou's article makes you swell with pride of vengence, don't it!? Come on man, you know it do.

I don't dare to contribute to the gear forum because I don't know anything about gear.  It's all about balance.  :)

I found Kiriakou's article to be of little consequence as it provided no new information and did not address the question at hand.

1. You made a claim following a link you posted.
2. That link did not support your claim or explain it.
3. I questioned it and you followed up with a post that said "You'll see"
4. You then edited that post to add a link that still does not explain or support your claim.

If you want to be taken seriously then don't post specious claims with no supporting evidence. I asked a simple question and instead of a straightforward answer I have to deal with someone playing games. Can you not participate in a discussion in a normal manner?

1.) True story, bro'.

2.) Wasn't intended to.

3.) Can't fool me. We all know you don't live in a bubble.

4.) Oh man, from linky above.....

Mitchell said he answered “no” to two questions about demonstrations on the questionnaire sent out before jury selection.

The first question asked: “Did you, or someone close to you, participate in any of the demonstrations or marches against police brutality that took place in Minneapolis after George Floyd’s death?” The second asked: “Other than what you have already described above, have you, or anyone close to you, participated in protests about police use of force or police brutality?”

....

Can you not participate in a discussion in a normal manner?

So in other words, a form of articulation fascism?

One of the jurors lied during selection.

Did he though?

The event he attended was an MLK event put on by the NAACP, specifically about CIVIL RIGHTS, and MLK's march on Washington, not police brutality. It wasn't in Minneapolis.

The guy is wearing a BLM T-shirt, but it's gonna have to be some fancy lawyering to get it overturned based on a T-shirt.
