It's been a thing for, like, years. The Cons voted it down, bill re-submitted under Libs has been passed.

Now, when the hell will they get the religion out of our anthem, that's what I want to know.

Um. Aren't the 'sons' referred to in the anthem the soldiers that fought and lost their lives in WW1?

If they are going to change it from 'in all thy sons command' to 'in all of us command' could they at least make it flow a bit better? Im not sure most people would remember to sing the new words anyway….

Here's to hoping they make it law so we need to play every national anthem of every player on our professional sports teams before a game.

No. It was written before WW1.

I am of 2 opinions. It's a complete waste of time [HTML_REMOVED] I am completely against the change. It should remain the way it was, the way I have always [HTML_REMOVED] will always sing it.
