Gas stations make nothing on selling gas. It's all about chips and candy.

they still make money on gas, but yes, the real profit margin is in the chips and slurpess

local demand is up however, ppl start driving more now that vancouver is just starting to recover from the snow terrorist attack.

Now to think of it, we're fucked for 2010 terrorists don't even need guns or bombs. Just need to break like two snow plow machines and DISASTER!!

Gas companies have the best scams going anyhow. They feed us bullshit about how their gas is better because it has techroline, ethanol blend, leprechaun sperm and whatever else, but yet somehow none of these magical additives make any difference to the price.

actually, with techron, I notice my injector flow gets better after usage.

the ethanol blend is just to raise the octane value by manipulating the (RON+MON)/2 value. It's been pretty useful for my car when I put in 94 octane at Husky/Mohawk for the price of 91 octane elsewhere. Still not as good as the real 94 octane though.

They all have the exact same little pie chart that shows the exact same profit and expenses breakdown. So either this amazing R[HTML_REMOVED]D they're doing in the super hi tech labs they show in the commercials all costs exactly the same amount of dollars, man hours, raw materials etc, or they're just selling snake oil and horse shit.
