Knowing that rewoga is going to be too dazed and confused to beat me at the island cup this year, FTW..

Being cheap is OK. Being a clueless sanctimonious condescending douchebag is just Vlad's MO.

Finished another correct-a-thon sometime around noon, grabed my tools and went for a hike on an old logging road that I more or less plan on changing into a dh track, anyways, built a small jump, did some work on berms and stuff.

Something that I planned on doing a couple of weeks ago, but only today did I have motivation to do it. :)

All's good. Life is good at the moment, had the first snow this morning, everything looks as if it is sugar coated. :)

Christmas, FTW! We're happy and healthy in casa del carbuncle, the gifts are bought, the cards are mailed out, short day at work today and then a fat leg of lamb and homemade scalloped potatoes tomorrow. Oh, and I get presents?

Merry Christmas!

How things have changed from last year. A year ago I was heart broken, out of work and living with my mom.

Now I have a dream job. I just got a 75% raise and I was making decent money when I started. My one complaint was how far I had to travel to go snowboarding and now that I'm transferring to Calgary I won't have that problem. In five years I'll get my signing authority with Transport Canada and I'll be able to live wherever I want…perhaps Comox Valley or Squamish.

Keep your faith folks. Things can alway turn around.

Keeping faith is at times definitely a challenge, if not impossible. My life has been one big let-down since May - and at present I need all my focus and strength and courage to not get drunk every night. I have a really hard time keeping faith and hope alive.

So my request to you guys is simple:

Keep this thread alive and post something positive. Please. NSMB has been a major part of my life and of who I am, and I'd really like to read something positive.

Ya I know how it feels, everything is going great, then it comes crashing down.
Last week was horrific for my family. Something positive for sure helps.
Go back from being outta town for the last two weeks. Loaded up the bike, headed to Fromme with Daveythetraildog…. the rain stopped. Pedaled up to 7th, down Oilcan, back up to Dreamweaver and down. The trails are draining great, no puddles. If that shit isn't therapy, I don't know what is. Fucking miss being home

I had a great pre-dawn rip on the Chameleom yesterday and cleaned to tricky climbs that I rarely get right, today I am taking the day of with the wife to just be adults without the toddlers for a bit.

It is a beautiful day.

Pulled off a 2005 TT with less than 5K, then put in storage for 11 years.
